Daylight savings time ends; change your clocks
Summer time is ending, and it’s almost time to change your clocks! Find out when clocks change from 2012 through 2016 in Israel.
Officially, when clocks reach 2:00 AM on Sunday 23 September 2012, they are switched back to 1:00 AM. So, on Saturday night, turn your clock back one hour earlier to get yourself an extra hour sleep (if you don’t have kids!) and get in line with the switch of Israel’s clock.
Future daylight savings time changes
If you like to plan in advance, the Ministry of Interior has a list of all Israeli daylight savings time changes for 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 already available.

I do not want to change my clock back. This is ridiculous. Summer is short enough as it is. I think i will stay with the old time thank you and the religious among you can just jump!
Winnie, there are many arguments against the daylight saving time switch. But, the announcement remains for those of us who are planning to go with the flow this year.
