Sirens in Jerusalem at 10:00 (30 November 2010)

For those of you who live or work in Jerusalem, the following is for you.  Today (Tuesday, 30 November 2010) at 10:00 sirens will be heard in Jerusalem.

The Jerusalem Municipality posted the following announcement:

The siren will activate on Tuesday 30.11 at 10:00am, and will continue for 1.5 minutes (in case of real-time alarm, the siren will stop, and then will play a rising and falling note for 1.5 minutes).

The purpose of this alarm is to test the sound quality and to map the gaps in coverage throughout the city.
